Ahrend Walters is on a Mission
Ahrend Walters' mission is to tell the world that all creative geniuses are imperfect, no matter how talented they are. The only true perfection can be found in Jesus Christ. The inspirational Christian poetry he writes is dedicated to the only One who brings perfection out of any creativity. Ahrend Walters, the Believer Poet, knows God has gifted him with great creativity. He expresses this creativity through dynamic and unusual poetry. He knows that none of his poetry is perfect. In fact, he purposely does little revision and leaves in flaws of grammar or spelling. This is not to show he doesn't care. Rather, he is demonstrating that as a creative genius his talent is still imperfect unless he points to Jesus Christ and lets Christ express through him the Truth and perfection that comes from God. So, he is writing what flows through him and he is on a mission to show others that even in their flaws they can express the Truth if they dedicate their work to the Lord. This talented and creative poet believes that all people have genius potential. All geniuses are imperfect apart from Divine guidance and inspiration. Ahrend Walters is showing through both his creative genius and his imperfection Jesus Christ is the answer to the world's problems.
Ahrend Walters finds Truth in music, painting and especially his poetry. He believes that much of his creativity is a result of the way he views life and beauty and that is most definitely influenced by his mental state and moods. Many creative individuals are highly sensitive and often considered to be afflicted with mental illness. Ahrend Walters feels deeply, loves deeply and creates from the depths of his soul. Because his creativity is often difficult to understand and he is so highly sensitive to life some have considered him to be afflicted, perhaps even to be Bipolar. Those who personally know and interact with this poet realize that he is highly creative and sensitive, but see that he does not need medication and functions well in life. He is driven by his faith and his creativity. If some want to consider it a disease he will not dispute it. Rather he will tell you the very nature of such "disease" drives him to share with others that it is possible for genius to be a byproduct of an affliction, such as bipolar, and for his creativity to be a treatment for it.
The mission of Ahrend Walters, Believer Poet, is tell all the worlds of the perfection found through Jesus Christ. His inspiration, his creativity, his sole purpose in life is to show the great love and perfection that comes from Christ. Without this perfection we are lost, no matter how intelligent, talented or creative.
Can you discover your true purpose in life by reading and meditating on the Believer Poet's writings? Ahrend believes you can and he invites you to share in his mission to "hear" the message from God through Jesus Christ. You don't hear this message just with your ears. You hear it with your heart.
His road to faith has been a journey and one he willingly shares with others. He is not one to blindly accept what others teach and has done the hard work of soul-searching as well as intellectual study. His eventual personal discovery that Jesus Christ is the answer to all things helps him come to terms with the apparent contradictions in life and in his gifts. The ongoing work of Ahrend Walters is his poetry and other creative expressions. He dedicates it to Christ and he lives his life in harmony with others, including all people, nature and animals. He supports various causes, such as World Vision, because it is his faith in action. The Mission of Ahrend Walters will be more fully explored and explained in the forthcoming book, Believer Poet: The Mission and Early Life of Ahrend Walters.

"It’s up to my readers to decide what is imperfect in my works and life and what is not. Through that they’ll discover the truth that is to be heard from Jesus Christ, our King."
