Ahrend R. Walters Art Exhibit In Biloxi, Mississippi
Through your exploration of the Believer Poet Website you have probably come to understand the intense creative process that erupted into Ahrend’s many books of poetry. What you probably don’t recognize is just how much Ahrend is inspired in the world of paint and canvas. Believer Poet often becomes what I refer to as “Believer Painter”. No matter what art form Ahrend is always creating. The endeavor of painting has inspired his close friend Kerri Williams, to orchestrate an art exhibit featuring Ahrend’s work. The Ahrend R. Walters Art Exhibit will be a wonderful window into the mind and soul of a creative genius. It will offer an in-depth look at the beautiful imperfection Ahrend has built his life on. The exhibit will feature Ahrend’s Paintings and Books of Poetry along with his Biography “Believer Poet: The Early Life & Mission of Ahrend R. Walters”, Written by his friend and Biographer Tom Gilbert, who will be attending the exhibit for a book signing. The Ahrend R. Walters Art Exhibit will truly be an event of tremendous proportions. Those of you who will be attending the exhibit to view paintings are in for a spectacular range of abstract artistry. Ahrend, a true creator, does not limit himself to rules or guidelines; he simply creates. Often he doesn’t know what his paintings will become. He believes he’s simply the energy that creates under God’s Inspiration. 
Ahrend often mixes mediums; he does this to symbolize great harmony and peace between opposites. His intense love of nature inspires him to incorporate things of the natural world into his paintings; sand, dead insects and grass are just a few examples.
We also have offerings for those who are poetry enthusiasts. All of Ahrend’s published works will be available, along with poetry posted throughout the Exhibit. If you ask, maybe even a reading from Believer Poet himself. It must be acknowledged that this Art Exhibit should be taken in as an Art Experience. It transcends the boundaries of exhibits in the same way Ahrend Walters transcends the boundaries of art. The Ahrend R. Walters Art Exhibit will be held at the legacy condominiums on May 15th through May 17th 2009.
